- Custom Design Frameworks (CDF) is the only picture framing company working exclusively to produce high quality custom framing designed for use in the Behavioral Healthcare field.
- All of our picture frames begin with solid wood molding that was designed and is milled specifically for Custom Design Frameworks.
- We have the ability to customize your frame in regards to wood type, color, and size and also provide dry mounting and matting.
- Most of our clients will select their prints and have them sent directly to us to be mounted, matted and framed.
- All of this is done at one location and under our strict standards and you will receive your custom project ready to be hung.
- Since 2015, we have been manufacturing our ligature resistant frames which are also abuse and graffiti resistant. Our specialty coating is the same as that used on amusement park rides and on military hangars. Graffiti caused by permanent magic marker can even be easily removed using Goof Off and most any solution can be used for daily cleaning without the worry of removing the finish.
- CDF utilizes color coordinated recessed security screws to fasten our frames onto our wall mounting system. Matching plugs are available which are cut from the same wood as the frames to insure a perfect match.
- CDF can also provide either acrylic or polycarbonate (Lexan) upon request.

- The CDF framing system consists of our own exclusive ligature resistant profile frame

- The frame can be hung at any position
- Strength is ensured through the filling of all gaps where damage can occur creating a tightly sealed unit. Caulking is suggested around the frame once installed to further prevent gaps at the wall. This is especially important when hung on brick or cinder block walls

- CDF is the only provider to design Abuse and Graffiti Resistant frames
- We all know that items, such as picture frames, that are hung in common areas become targets of abuse and graffiti
- All of our frames receive multiple coats of sealant before leaving our facility
- Most marks made pencils, of any color, or crayon can be cleaned using the general cleaner you are currently using
- More permanent stains such as permanent magic marker or pen can easily be removed with “GOOF OFF’ or similar product
- The dense finish also provides for better disinfecting with no absorption into the wood

- Our ligature resistant frames can be used to enhance and protect prints
- A link has been provided to Art.com which provides a vast selection in which CDF will also pass along any discounts received
- CDF also provides dry mounting services to adhere the print to a foam board to eliminate and prevent wrinkling
- Matting is available to create a more appealing visual effect and is available in most any color or sizing.
- Framing is available in Mahogany, Maple, Oak and Maple if being painted
- CDF will color match or use any paint as recommended
- Most all graffiti marks (even permanent marker) can be removed through our use of Armorseal Rexthane 1 as a top coat and sealant
